Building Your Foundation (2129 Electric Rd, Suite 205, Cave Spring, VA 24018) respects your family's privacy. This page explains what we collect through this website and what we do with it, in plain language, because that is how we do everything.
What we collect
- Contact form. When you send a message we receive the name, email address, phone number, grade level, and message you type. We use it to respond to you and for nothing else.
- Booking and payment. Appointments and purchases are processed by our scheduling and payment providers. Card details go to the payment processor directly and never touch this website.
- Security checks. Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to block automated spam. Turnstile may process technical information about your browser to decide whether you are a human.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, keeps standard technical logs, such as IP addresses and pages requested, to keep the site fast and secure.
What we never do
- We do not sell or rent your information to anyone.
- We do not run third party advertising trackers on this site.
- We do not publish anything about your child, including photos or progress details, without your written permission.
Children
Our students are often children, but this website is meant for parents and guardians. We do not knowingly collect information from children online. Information about your child's reading is gathered in person, from you, as part of providing tutoring services.
Keeping and deleting information
We keep correspondence and student records only as long as needed to serve your family and meet ordinary business obligations. Want something deleted? Email ellen@buildingyourfoundation.com and we will take care of it.
