The hour that replaces months of guessing
Report cards tell you something is off. They rarely tell you what, or why, or what to do about it. The Reading Assessment does. Your child spends an hour with a licensed teacher who has taught reading in real classrooms, and you walk out with a clear picture and a plan.
What actually happens
We start easy
Your child reads with a teacher, not at a testing station. The first minutes are about getting comfortable, because nervous readers never show what they can really do.
We check every layer of reading
Letter knowledge, sounds, decoding, fluency, and comprehension. Reading breaks down in different places for different kids, and the fix depends on finding the right one.
We listen to you
School history, IEPs, what homework looks like at your house, what your child says about reading. You know things a test never shows.
You leave with a plan
A clear explanation of where your child is, written in plain language, plus our recommendation for what comes next. The plan is yours to keep whether or not you enroll.
A good fit if
- Your child is behind and you want to know how far, from someone outside the school
- The school flagged a screening result and you want a second look
- Homework ends in tears and you want to understand why
- You are considering our classes and want the required starting point
What you get out of it
No more guessing. You will know where the gaps are, why they are there, and the step by step path to close them.
Keep looking around
