These terms cover your use of this website and our tutoring services. Using the site or booking with us means you agree to them.
Appointments and cancellations
- Appointments can be rescheduled with at least 24 hours notice by email to ellen@buildingyourfoundation.com.
- Appointment fees are not refundable.
- If we ever need to cancel on you, we reschedule at your convenience or credit the fee, your choice.
Programs and payment
Current pricing is listed on our services pages. Intensive class enrollment begins with a Reading Assessment so instruction starts at the right level. Payment is due at booking or enrollment through our payment provider.
What we promise, and what we cannot
We promise licensed teachers, honest assessment, structured instruction, and measured progress reporting. We cannot promise a specific score, grade, or timeline, because no honest educator can. Progress depends on attendance, practice, and each child's starting point.

Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Any dispute belongs to the courts serving Roanoke County.
